The Ministry of Education, said the size of the cohort of 2012 is similar to that of 2011. There are enough school places for all eligible Primary One students at regional and national levels.

The Ministry will also be a new primary system, an Internet (P1-IS) as a pilot project in eight schools. The P1-IS is an alternative channel for parents to enroll their children in primary school. This holds true for phase 2C and stage complementary 2C alone.
