Lakers Select Darius Morris With 41st Overall Pick | Lakers Nation

Darius Morris, the Lakers selected with the No. 41 overall in the 2011 NBA Draft. Morris 15 points and seven assists in his second season average for his name in the NBA Draft.

Second round picks are not guaranteed contracts, but Morris was the first design option for the Lakers, who are not first-round draft choice. The Lakers used their second round of the Gold Andrew Lock (University of Charleston) and Ater Majok (formerly of the University of Connecticut). The other point guards currently on the list of the Lakers are Steve Blake and Derek Fisher. Shannon Brown has opted for free agency, but can return to Los Angeles.
