On Warna 94.2 FM – Getting Traffic to the Shop in the Desert …

Measured by the presence last Friday at Max Pavilion Singapore Expo, which hosted the event, I think, a working partnership of this magnitude is still far from realized. Imagine if we had one of the strongest lineups in the history of Anugerah Planet Muzik, but the place was only half. Who’s to blame? The economy?Organizer? Consumers? The place? The team Promotions? I’ve already said and I repeat here in Singapore are suckers for free entertainment, not because of the monthly exhibitions at the Singapore Expo, where we are guest artists who do it without paying a cent. The timing of the event could not have even a small role in attracting people to participate in play. It was only a month, that act Maher Zain had now sold out and tickets for the concert is not cheap, especially for those who came in large groups or families.

It seems very strange that even with the likes of Siti Nurhaliza Dato ‘, Afgan, Rossa, M. Nasir, Hady Mirza and Taufik Batisah a few names of stars in the catalog, it was difficult to get bums on seats. Not only that, it is a mystery to me that the event is more a case of Singapore, Malaysia, Singapore and Malaysia felt all artists. The Indonesians and Afgan Syah Reza Daniel Mananta were artists, Rossa, Melly and Sondor Goeslaw Sandhya, but outside of them, only Judica was seen sitting behind the public Aliff Aziz. No one can deny that the Indonesians, good music and good talent, but I hope it is not a sense of pompous attitude that does not support an event like this. At least the invitation of the organizers to come and make the effort to meet their fans here. We already have a substantial number of Indonesians who work or go to school here and would be good to meet with their compatriots.
