ROME – The appeal hearing of the U.S. student Amanda Knox against his conviction for murder in Italy resumed Monday with all eyes on an Ivory Coast man also convicted of murder, as witnesses for the prosecution.
Rudy Hermann Guede is to serve 16 years in prison for the murder of Meredith Kercher in 2007, a British student who was stabbed to death in the apartment she shared with Knox.
Knox and fellow suspects, Raffaele Sollecito, were also convicted of murder and attractive. Guede, who wanted an expedited procedure, was tried separately and have exhausted all levels of occupations with a higher criminal court found his conviction in Italy.
